Meet my new series!
Since I first started working as a professional artist in 2006 I’ve been wanting to produce a series based around my love of fonts. But I couldn’t find a way to incorporate them that worked. Then, this summer, it all fell into place.
My new series “Bold Type” celebrates the art of typography. In our social media lives we continuously take in streams of fonts and characters. How often do we pause to take in the shape and form of these marks which convey so much information. These acrylic paintings explore the abstract patterns our words create.
